What does shopping on Dutch-Way Online Market cost?
  • Each order between the minimum amount of $35 and $125 will be charged a convenience fee of $4.99.
  • If your order is over $125, you will not be charged a convenience fee.
  • All advertised specials are available online with the exception of some “Must Buy”, “Limit”, and “Buy X Get X” Promotions. Unfortunately, we are currently unable to offer all of these types of promotions online.  Products on “Must Buy” and “Limit” promotions will be on sale for the additional quantities or lesser amounts price shown in the ad.  Prices on non sale items may be a few cents higher than in store to help cover operating costs for these services so our in-store shoppers are not affected by this service.

The price that is charged for products will be the price that is in effect the day of pickup, not the day that the order is placed.

What are Dutch-Way Online Market's hours?
Dutch-Way Online Market is available to you 24 hours a day.

  • Pickup times are available at the Myerstown location Monday through Friday 9 AM – 7 PM and Saturday 9 AM – 2 PM.
  • Pickup times for our Schaefferstown location are Monday through Friday 12 PM – 7 PM and Saturdays 12 PM – 2 PM.
  • Pickup times for our Ephrata Location are Monday through Friday 9 AM – 7 PM and Saturdays 9 AM – 1 PM.
  • Pickup times for our Gap location are Monday through Saturday 9 AM – 6 PM.

Orders may be placed up to 5 days in advance.  Lead times for orders vary based on desired pickup time.

How do I order an item that I know Dutch-Way carries, but I can’t find it on Dutch-Way Online Market?
If you are unable to find an item you are searching for for on Dutch-Way Online Market, click on the button located at the top right of any search results page. Fill out a description of the product, how many you are looking for, and what you estimate the price to be and our shoppers will do their best to locate it for you.
What happens if an item is out of stock?
While adding products to your cart, you can select your substitute preferences for that item. If you choose “Best Substitute”, your shopper will select a substitute item for the out of stock product using our substitution guidelines below. You may also leave notes on individual items to inform us of your preferred substitute. If “No Substitute’ is chosen, you will not receive or be charged for the item and we will NOT substitute the item if it is not available. You can save your default choice for substitutions in preferences under My Account .

Substitution Guidelines

  • We will never overcharge you on an item that has been substituted at a lower cost.
  • If the requested size of a product is out of stock and a smaller size is available, more than one of the smaller size may be substituted to add up to the requested size.
  • If the requested brand is not available, we will substitute a different brand within the price range of the original product ordered. We will keep the substitute’s price lower if possible.
  • If the substitution(s) is/are more than a dollar than the original ordered product, we will contact you to approve the substitution.
  • If we are out of an item that is on sale, we may substitute the closest size of a similar product that is comparable in cost to the sale price.

You can also cancel your order under “My Account > My Orders”.

Your order cannot be cancelled after the cancellation cutoff time because the store team has already started selecting your groceries. The cancellation cutoff time varies depending on the pickup time and the day that has been selected.

  • Cancellation should be available anytime before the day of your order, as well as on the day of your order up until 3 hours prior to your pickup time.
  • If you have chosen a pickup time of 3 PM or later, your order may have a longer cancellation cutoff window.

If you still wish to cancel your order, you may be charged a restocking fee equal to the sum of (A) 100% of the total dollar amount of your perishable items (since perishable items are custom-ordered from our retailers and are fresh) plus (B) 25% of the total dollar amount of your nonperishable items.

Where do I order Party Trays, Baskets, or Meat Bundles?

These items can be ordered HERE.  These orders must be picked up at the customer service desk.

  • Orders of party trays, baskets, or meat bundles cannot be ordered through the online market or picked up curbside in combination with an online order or by themselves.
Can I use Dutch-Way gift cards, coupons, SNAP/EBT/Food Stamps, or receive my senior/employee discount online?

Unfortunately, at this time we are unable to accept gift cards and coupons (other than promo codes), SNAP/EBT/Food Stamp Payment, or apply senior/employee discounts online.

  • These items can only be used in store.
Can I purchase gift cards online?

  • Gift cards for other retailers/restaurants are only available in store.
  • Gift cards of $25 increments up to $100 are also available on Dutch Way’s Online Market for curbside pickup in combination with an online grocery order.
